3D X-Ray Scanner

Full body skeleton 3D scan created with our new Röntgen-Full body scanner. About 60 Röntgen captures were made, and afterwards combined to a 3D model using off the shelve computer hard- and software.

The scans can be used for visualisation of bones during examination in the medical field.

3D model of a Polar Bear. Once a 3D model is created it can be allowed to walk anywhere: Photoshop supports the use of 3D models, and in Octane you can render it with realistic shadows in any HDRI image you like:

I’m working on a tiger. Using reference images and a Schleich model I’ve added fotorealistic details and fur in Zbrush.

3D sushi scan and render: Scanning food and rendering it has many advantages: You can position the pieces afterwards, creating as many duplicates as you like. Overall you have a lot more control over de process, not only in post-production but in scene building/lighting etc.

Another plus: The models can be 3D printed which can add to an original marketing campaign and used in virtual en augmented reality apps, not to mention gaming engines:

As a kid I had an idea: a spaceship that could sustain multiple generations of life. But today I agree with the Space agencies: Building bases into space as stops for further explorations, the first one on the moon:

Peggy Vanwalleghem, 3D architecture designer, has a dream too: she wants to live in her creations. On common ground, space, we worked together on digitizing 3D sculpts and making them ready for 3D printing.

The most recent project of Vanwalleghem is a habitable moon, inspired by the recent plans to build a 3D printed base on the moon by Foster + Partners and Enrico Dini’s D-Shape. It features windows with a view:
